About

Pop Musicology used to exist elsewhere, but there just wasn’t enough time to maintain it. There’s not any more time at the moment, but there’s more desire. If you saw the old Pop Musicology (you probably missed it, it’s not your fault…) then you’ll know what to expect: mostly rubbish, occasionally well-lit and accidentally rhythmic paeans to whoever sends things in the post.

Want to send things in the post? Please do! PM receives much post, so sorry if it takes a minute or two to get round to hearing what you send. E-mail (verysmallmonkeys@hotmail.com) for more info, like, y’know, an address. Thanks!

The man who wrote all this also writes for The Quietus, Drowned In Sound, The Fly, ArtRocker and some other stuff too. During the day he ‘describes’ records for the likes of Amazon, HMV and Play. Did you see his article on Edward Elgar’s attachment to the British Empire in Profile Magazine? Didn’t think so.
